Artiste peintre et comédienne, depuis son plus jeune âge Jessica Astier entretient un rapport intime avec la nature qui la guide dans ses créations.

C’est par l’expression picturale qu’elle trouvera son moyen de donner un corps à l’invisible et à l’indicible, un langage pour établir la connexion avec un monde sensible. 

Elle manifeste ainsi dans ses toiles le réveil des rites ancestraux, la magie des éléments, et l’incarnation de ces forces dans le corps des femmes qu’elle peint comme pour mettre en lumière ce qui fut, historiquement, contraint à demeurer dans l’ombre.

Painter and actress, from an early age Jessica Astier has maintained an intimate relationship with nature, which guides her in her creations.

Through pictorial creation, she found her way of giving body to the invisible, to the unspeakable, a language to establish the connection with a sensitive world.

She manifests in her paintings the awakening of ancestral rites, the magic of the elements, and the incarnation of these forces in the women's bodies she is painting to highlight what was, historically, forced to remain in the shadow.
